India is a secular country with mixture of various religion, language, culture, etc. In the coming talk Alok will discuss about Indian society, culture, festival, movies, technology...  

Alok, a great scientist from ARIES, Nainital, India is currently working on his sabbatical at SHAO as CAS PIFI Visiting Scientist. In the past he worked as Post Doctoral / Visiting Fellow in various institutes in India and Europe. He also has visiting faculty experiences in China, Yunnan National Astronomical Observatory, Kunming and Center for Astrophysics, Guangzhou University. He likes China and will present us many interesting aspects about India.
